Science and Engineering Forum commences Thursday 2 May then on Friday May 3 concluding on Thursday May 9 with Dinner which will become our next Dinner meeting. No meeting on May 6. There will also be no meeting on the next Monday May 13. This will be replaced by the combined meeting at Kings Creek Retreat on Thursday May 16, 6.00pm for 6.30pm. Kings Creek Retreat is a wonderful spot to be enjoyed by all. Partners welcome. Please advise President Ian by Monday May 6 if you are going to attend. RYDA will also be held later in May when volunteers will be needed. District Assembly to be held at Port Macquarie on Sunday May 19 for incoming Board Members and any other Rotarians that are able to attend. Venue will be at the University of Port Macquarie. Ashley Cleaver reported that the Rotary Club had a membership of around 70 in 1960’s now around 40 with anticipated drop to 30’s in next ten years. How can we make Rotary attractive to potential members? Congratulated Warren on his Gold Medal for Dragon boat racing in Canberra he must have a great crew! Local teams did well in other events also. Eight teams competed, four from NSW.
